Ximenez Spinola Vintage PX 2021 375ml

This is a very rare bottling when it comes to sweet PX wines. Most Pedro Ximenez wines are fortified and labelled as sherry. Almost all are blended non-vintage wines. Here we have an unfortified, sweet Pedro Ximenez from a single vintage. Made from highly concentrated, raisined grapes and fermented in American oak barrels where the wine is aged for 12 months. The alcohol content is achieved naturally resulting in a lighter, purer style.

Intense and youthful with dates, figs and raisin flavours - a winner with vanilla ice cream or bitter dark chocolate.
