El Maestro Sierra was established in 1830 by Jose Antonio Sierra who started out as a cooper making barrels for some of the biggest sherry houses. Nowadays the bodega is run by an all women team and produces some of the most sought after wines in the region.
Maestro Sierra's Fino is aged for on average five years under a veil of flor. The extensive ageing makes for a relatively full-bodied style with greater concentration and length than many other Finos. Not only is it an exceptional aperitif, it has the power and richness to pair with more robust flavours and dishes. And yet it retains great freshness and vivacity due to having been bottled very recently. Undoubtedly one of the world's best food wines.
